Atchen Tan is Romani for "stopping place". It embodies the idea of a safe resting spot where the Roma could set up for a night, a week, a month or more. Our Atchen Tan is just that for horses. We work closely with Avalon Mist Equin Rescue in Yakima, Washington to provide homes for previously unwanted horses. A few of them end up here, and they're here to stay.
